Dresden's city and night life is equally colourful. Around 45,000 students provide a breath of fresh air for the city, and countless clubs, stages, bars, pubs, theatres and cinemas ensure that there's never a dull moment. An unmissable experience: "Kraftwerk Mitte" – the cultural centre of the old town in the middle of a grand 19th century industrial monument.

Above all, the culture: With its world-famous museums, collections and galleries, the Saxon State Orchestra and the Dresden Philharmonic, the Semperoper and Jazz Days, the Kreuzchor and pop, dance and literature, cinema and film nights on the banks of the Elbe, Dresden has everything to make your university experience even more enjoyable.
